Mark Ruffalo, an actor and activist, recently put his townhouse in Carroll Gardens, which was built in the 19th century, up for sale and sold it for a little loss. According to Trulia (via Mansion Global), the Avengers star sold the mansion with four bedrooms and three bathrooms for $3.125 мιℓℓιо𝚗, despite incurring a loss of $350,000 in the transaction.
Ruffalo paid $3.5 мιℓℓιо𝚗 for the home when he bought it in 2015, and it appears to have been listed for sale for the first time in August of 2016. Ruffalo chose to use the entire 3,200 square foot breadth of the home as a single-family residence and has kept a large portion of the home’s original characteristics. The home was constructed in 1899 and has the legal capacity to house three families. To nамe a few, there are various decorative fireplace mantels wrapped in marble, high ceilings, decorative arches, and plaster molding. All of these features are worth noticing.
A recent renovation made it possible to include recessed lighting, an open floor plan, a large open chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, and plenty of storage space all over the house. A full basement, a washer and dryer unit, and a beautiful backyard garden that has been planted but still offers plenty of area for outdoor gatherings are also included in the property.
There were speculations circulating earlier this year that the actor had his sights set on a townhouse on the Upper West Side that cost $10 мιℓℓιо𝚗; however, it is unknown at this moment whether or not a рᴜгchase will be made in the relatively near future.
