Kylie Jenner favors minimalism in interior design. Meridith Baer, an A-list home stager and the owner of Meridith Baer Home, spoke up to PEOPLE about staging Jenner’s 9,680-square-foot Beverly Hills house, which she and Travis Scott bought for $13.5 мιℓℓιо𝚗 in 2018. In October, they listed it once more for $21.9 мιℓℓιо𝚗. We wа𝚗ted to pay homage to Kylie’s love of blush and the naughty hues she employs in her skincare brand, according to Baer. “The overall look is what we would describe as organic modern. So much of the furniture is quite natural, serene, and straightforward. At the same time, we have a lot of distinctive pottery pieces and edgy, bold paintings.
Including big sister Kim Kardashian, Baer has worked on “a number of homes in the past for different members of Kylie’s family,” but claims Jenner granted her the greatest latitude. “Interestingly, they gave us no instructions. We recognized her own taste as a cue. It was sort of an homage to her because it was inspired by the hues and styles she adores, she continues. There are “minimal, soothing and elegant” elements throughout the house, which has seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms, according to Baer.
“She loves the look and feel of simplicity, despite the fact that she herself is gorgeous. And it was crucial to us that the house not appear staged, says the woman. The ability to decorate a home so that it feels natural and not staged is what makes us famous. Before Jenner and Scott bought the house, Baer had already staged it for the previous owners. She remembers that at the time, “we had been asked to make it very glam.” And [Kylie] purchased it before naturally bringing it to a really comfortable, inviting, and intriguing look on her own.
