The production of the megayacht Seven Seas directed by Steven Spielberg has come to an end.
According to Merle Wood & Associates, the world-famous director has finally parted ways with his magnificent 282-footer.
Earlier this year, the warship, which is now known as Man of Steel, was marketed for a price of $160M; however.
The buyer was reportedly a longtime client of Denison Yachting’s Thom Conboy, who acted as their agent in this transaction.
The iconic yacht, which was constructed by the renowned shipyard Oceanco to Spielberg’s exact specifications, made its debut on the high seas in the year 2010.
When designing his “dream machine,” the Academy Award winner and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $3.7B spared no expense. This is the first time that the dream machine has been put up for sale.
The opulent interior, which was designed by Nuvolari & Lenard and Molly Isaksen, extends across all four decks of the vessel and provides a plenty of space for hosting celebrity guests.
In its nine spacious bedrooms, the ship has space for a total of twenty passengers, in addition to twenty-eight crew members.
The owner’s suite that belongs to Steven Spielberg is, without a doubt, the star of the show. It has a full-beam chamber with an en suite bathroom and a dressing room, in addition to an office and a patio with its very own private jacuzzi.
It should come as no surprise that Seven Seas is replete with luxuries suitable for film royalty, such as giant TVs in each room as well as a full movie theater.
In addition, there are a multitude of lounge areas, cocktail bars, a helipad, a sauna, a steam room, a fitness center, a pool, and a vast beach club.
As could be anticipated, there is also a fully-equipped garage that contains a tender, speedboat, various water toys, and diving equipment.
