Neal Carter, 14, went live on Instagram on Monday (March 4) to share a snippet of a new tune while dancing and throwing up hand gestures.

Motivated by artists such as Yeat, Lil Uzι Vert, and Playboi Carti, the track features high-pitched distorted vocals set against a bass-heavy rhythm reminiscent of a video game.

Although the complete lyrics are difficult to discern, Neal can be heard alluding to matters of substance abuse and relations.

As soon as the video began to circulate online, followers expressed their opinions on it via social media; some were less than impressed.

One critic commented on Instagram, “Bro, you didn’t get the right genes,” while another added, “How is it that you do this when your father is one of the greatest rappers of all time?”
