Although Paul “PG-13” George, an NBA superstar, was only recently traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Palmdale, Calif. native and his longtime partner Daniela Rajic appear to love the West Coast so much that they have already upgraded their local living arrangements. According to records, George spent close to $16.1 mιllιon on a three-story, elevator-equipped estate in Pacific Palisades, on L.A.’s astronomically expensive Westside.
It turns out that the Palisades mansion in question has a history of famous residents. Despite being only five years old—in late 2014—the house has already gone through three ownership changes.
DeAndre Jordan, a fellow NBA superstar and former Clipper, paid $12.7 mιllιon for the then-new property back in late 2015. He only lived there for less than six months before listing it for sale and ultimately selling the opulent home to local hedge funder Curtis Macnguyen for a mιllιon-dollar loss.
The Cape Cod-style behemoth, built on spec by renowned developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati of Huntington Estate Properties, boasts more than 10,000 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms, and ten bathrooms. It is located in the highly sought-after Riviera neighborhood pocket.
The interior of the house combines modern and classic elements, with well-sized formal living and dining rooms, a temperature-controlled wine room, and striking Fleetwood sliding walls.
The home’s open floor plan, intricate wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, and hardwood flooring throughout all set the tone for the rest of the house, which also features a soaring ceiling and a gently sweeping staircase in the foyer.
A sitting space, spa-like master bathroom, and a private terrace with expansive views that extend to the Pacific Ocean are all features of the hedonistic master bedroom. The backyard of the mini-estate, which includes a putting green, swimmer’s pool with waterfall feature, an outdoor kitchen, and a half-court basketball court, is also easily visible from the patio.
A home theater with tiered seating and plenty of wood paneling, a games room/lounge, and an indoor spa area with a second pool, gym, and plenty of space for massage tables are all included in the basement level of the building.
